About the Event
Journey with us through the El Yunque Rainforest where we'll share with you one of our favorite places to go to connect with the beautiful and sacred nature of Puerto Rico. Afterwards we'll enjoy a hearty, healthy, multi-course brunch prepared by our chef.
Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or wet, a swimsuit, and hiking sandals or sneakers.
The adventure begins at Casa Alternavida at 8:00am. We'll take a quick drive to the rainforest where we'll begin our hike. Some of the trails can be quite slippery and/or steep and may require moving at a slower pace to safely get to the destination. When necessary we provide a rope to help with balance and even a hand if needed.
*Please note this hike is for moderate to advanced levels and may include steep and/or slippery climbing and swimming across streams.
